Trying To Make Sense Of It All

Time For A Change

February 12, 2011 –  Change is inevitable – that’s a simple fact of life.  Several things have changed in my life over the course of the past few months and as it tends to do, has brought me back to writing again.

It’s been a while and I’m admittedly a bit rusty – so I figured I would start slow and re-design IOT’s main site.  I’ve added a few things in the form of Twitter and Tumblr.  I find that some (if not most) of my inspiration comes while I’m away from my computer.  So instead of jotting my thoughts down on a post-it note or some random word document at work, I decided to use Twitter and Tumblr to capture them as the happen.  So expect those posts to be pure, raw, unprocessed thoughts!  To be honest, I have been on Twitter for a while but have never really used it much in the past.  Tumblr is new to me and I find it is a nifty little toy that I enjoy because with the mobile app I can post on three places at once – which is very handy.  Since I have a trip coming up next week, expect to see them being “battle tested” as I’m sure I will have several interesting experiences to share while I’m away that simply won’t be able to wait till I get to a computer.  (Thank God for smartphones!)

Tweaks and changes to IOT will most likely be coming over the next few weeks as we become reacquainted with each other.  Visually I am pleased with what I have done so far.  Hopefully the new look will inspire more writing – time will tell I suppose.

For now, this is a good start and I am happy to be back here again.
